All-in-all, Punch-Out!! is an excellent comeback for a series that hasn't stepped into the ring since the Super Nintendo. The gameplay is just as insanely addictive as ever, with a mix of initial frustration followed by a sense of unparalleled joy once you've figured out a routine. Like the original, it's a game you'll keep coming back to, if only to improve upon your run. Only now it offers a sensory overload to go with it. 8/10
