Wired: Apparently Harmonix has had some second thoughts about the Beatles Rock Band special edition's $250 price tag, because this just appeared on Amazon: a "special value edition" of the game that includes the old Rock Band instruments.
It's got an MSRP of $160 and an Amazon price of $140 - much more affordable as an entry-level setup.
I pinged Harmonix to find out which instruments are in there - the first-gen wired ones or the second-gen wireless - but from the language on the Amazon listing it seems like it's the former.
