360 MW2 controller is wired because of licensing issues, says Mad Catz

Mad Catz has confirmed that though the PS3 Modern Warfare 2 Combat Controller is wireless, the Xbox 360 version will be wired.

"Even though the Xbox 360 Combat Controller is wired, we still believe it to be a remarkable product which we are convinced will enhance the enjoyment of Modern Warfare 2 for gamers everywhere," said a Mad Catz representative
