Xboxyde was able to play Forza Motorsport 2 on the debug Xbox Live. These pictures include those of Nurburgring and the famous Ferrari 330 P4.
It is part of the original title and meets the news posting guidlines.
? You people are so full of sh*t what other sims look like Forza on any next gen console?.
#4.1 you don't know what you're looking at theres damage settings i Forza, thers also much more going on than just real time damage . None of your Fanboy comments are going to change anything, for a MS hating fanatic you sure do track forza threads and voice you dissopointments alot. lol
You don't no what you're looking at, Forza's so complex and advanced, lighting and shadowing etc do not allow for reasonable opinions from pics.
That is because that is DJ..He created a new name. New name/still a puppy killing PS3 Fanboy!
i dont realy see why there is so much talk about Forza 2, these pic looks okay but nothing more then that..
i realy cant put my finger on it, but they look a bit lastgen..
I've noticed that the car models in Forza 2 do not appear as complex as those in the GTHD demo. I believe the reason for this is that the models have to be deformable for the damage system. I'm not sure this is why but it is my belief.
You can hit a wall at 100MPH and only get a slight dent and some scratches? Damn, that's almost as good as Gran Turismo.
There are setting you can use to ajust how realistic you want it to be. You can have it so you hit the wall and nothing happens or have to so you hit the wall and the car won't drive anymore.
But I have not seen a single video where the car actually smashes up, even in the developer interviews where the game director had trouble damaging cars in his own game. Does anyone have a link so I can see this "high damage" setting for myself? =/
not very impressive, I think you should stop showing screenshots for this game there doing more harm than good.
It seems like every day I see a new shiny (actually... somewhat shiny) image of Forza 2. I'm GOING to BUY the game already, lets stop w/ all the picture showing.
Not like I have anymore bubbles to lose, but those screenshots look like absolute crap. hahaha
The GT series implemented glowing disk brakes in GT4, and even that looked more realistic on the PS2. HAHAHAHA
Any true fan of driving sims would know that Fart-za tries, but they just CAN'T cut it.
It was GT3 that added glowing brakes. I will buy Forza 2 but I am a little disappointed. The screens don't look much better than GT4 at 1080i. Personally I think the devs could have done a better job especially with the decals and emblems which look low res for sure.
I was really looking forward to the game but the graphics aren't doing anything for me. The offical shots look so much better. I wonder if there is any photo doctoring going on.....
these pictures are of an earlier build. Watch this:
Looks nice! I will be picking this up.
One thing though. I kinda like the more realistic in car view of Project Gotham though. The hood view is not really "realistic". Reminds me of Rallisport for the original xbox.
those ferrari picturesare GAR-BAGE!! look at the decal its sooo blurry or i need to get my eyes checked.
the video that ford posted up? whats that? is that supose to show how amazing the game is hahahaha if thats the best u got then thats hilarious
like i said b4 - comparing this 2 GT5 is an insult to GT5 makers
u want to know how detailed GT5 is...the glare of the sun doesnt only impact the car shell and the inside of the car - in the ferrari demo of GT5 is u look at the projector headlights - u could notice the sun flare move on the projector it self!!! the amount of detail is CRAZY!!
forza is full of blur and when the car isnt a blur its jaggy as [email protected]
the damage on cars look sooo ugly - i would ahve left that out if i was forza
is an insult to turn 10.
Well I think those car pics looked pretty good, yeah I would say the car in the GTHD demo looks slightly better but hey this game is great for what it does and it will be here soon..I can't wait...."It's Phoenix For-Za win!"
Forza 2: The images are back with a vengeance No there not lol Im sure the game itself will be decent, thats a given. Just stop with the screenshots! Like it will look better than GTHD! But thats wierd... Both driving sims One is a preview of a very very unfinished GT5; the other is a practically finished Forza 2. Aaaand GTHD looks alot better, wow. Stop with the screenshots cos you know they'll be compared to GTHD and therefore you know it'll make Forza's look crap...truth
I only judge Turn 10's official screenshots. Plus these are nowhere near final shots, plus who cares anyways it will look unbelievable on a HDTV. Seriously play Halo 2, than Gears Of War, next gen is fantastic and even if this doesnt look better than GT5 it still looks fantastic.
To be honest i'm sick of pictures and videos of Forza 2. I WANT THE GAME NOW! Sorry I'm just really getting impatient.
can you say low resolution???all the decals on the cars are low res! i hate that!
like all of you Sony fans say it does. Forza was a better game than GT. The reviews prove it. So having CUT AND PASTE Backgrounds like GT does not make GT better. All I know is that Forza 2 is going to kick some major behind as much if not more than GT.
The physics on this game will surely be it's selling point alone, add to that the vast array of vehicles ( too many to mention ) available for tuning/modding/individualizing ... But in the graphics war, I think GranTurismo has already taken that cake.
We forza fans will be racing online, customizing our favourite rides etc in a matter of weeks now!!!!
What will you guys be doing???
errm WAITING - [email protected][email protected]
Dont worry though you guys only have to wait more than a year then you can all go back to bouncing off walls at a 100 mph without the car being damage and driving cars with physics like a trolley, and racing against A.I as dumb as your selfs only possible in GT5 the real driving simulator........NOT!!
