On Friday May 11th at 1 am on Spike TV, Gamehead goes to Bungie Studios to have an exclusive look at the Halo 3 Beta.
At 1 am I am usually in my room getting ready to go to bed, and in 5 days will be playing the beta for myself.
wow, this game gets talked about so much, by the time it actually comes out nobody will want to play it cause everyone would have seen it all
Most over-rated game of the year goes too!!!
More like most Anticipated game of 2007!
i hate when people say this game is overhyped i think that is just silly i mean how much money did halo 2 make in 24 hours $125 Million( http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id...
but if you want to say the next one is overhyped go ahead while i enjoy killing people on live and rightfully getting the same thing done back to me.
and it's not like it realeased anything on the story which actually would be considered a spoiler not gameplay elements you always here about gameplay b4 a game comes out but not the story isn't that how it works?
I was anticipating it until Bungie held it up like the first coming of christ. Nobody cares if a gun has extra grip and won't slip out of your hands easy, they wouldn't put that in the game anyway.
And seeing Beta made it even worse again, they should've just waited for it to be completed.
I'm still anticipating it but it's lost a lot of cred for the crap they've pulled
This BETA isn't for us or anyone but BUNGIE. Were doing them a favor so that the final version will be better. Its not marketing... its TESTING.
Were helping them collect data, that why its not called DEMO.
Your kinda right... I watched a couple Halo vids myself and was midly dissapointed (while also remided of the intense action that I breathed in like oxygen during the good ol Halo 2 days). As for the marketing, C'MON!! This is Halo *Drumroll* 3!!!! How could you NOT be expecting this much media on the biggest Xbox game- and probably the most famous (my 7 year old cousin knows about Halo but doesn't even recall Mario or pokemon)
But it really doesnt seem to bother me, or make me want to play it less.
Maybe the reason it doesn't bother me as much is that i don't jump on some halo news or pictures as much as some people do. Neither am i doing the beta. 1 because i don't have xbl, and 2 because i want to play the game as a whole, not a beta.
So in many ways it hasn't been ruined for me.
But hey, thats just me.
Sometimes I go along mistakening the Halo beta for the actual game. After reading your post, I realize that, yeah, we have yet to see the final game (or how bout that single player- aw baby), which will most DEFINITELY be killer- or my name isn't kuest.
Cool avatar, Snoop Dizzle... Fo shizzle Nizzle, I'm chilling with the big ol double Gizzle. (sorry! couldn't resist- that name brings back fond memories)
