Metroid Prime Trilogy forces motion control on gamers

ARS: Metroid Prime Trilogy brings all three later-generation Metroid games together in one package, and adds motion-controls to Metroid Prime 1 and 2. It's a good package for $50, and for those gamers who haven't played the games, this gives them a chance to get the entire experience in one package. One minor annoyance, though: you can only play using the motion controls.

The game landed on our doorstep a few days ago, hot off the presses, and I couldn't wait to find out how the first two Metroid Prime titles played with the motion controls. The results were pleasantly surprising-look for a more in-depth review early next week-but I was taken aback when the instruction manual noted that the GameCube controller wouldn't work on any of the games. (Metroid Prime Trilogy, Wii)
