Patrice Desilets, one of the people behind Assassin's Creed 2, informed 9lives that there is only one specific reason why the game is going to release late on the pc. It is not because of some aversion towards the platform, but merely because of the piracy problem. "We have examined it and we could have easily sold ten million copies if it wasn't for the piracy problem. That is really the only reason why we are going to release it late on the pc.
He also eradicated the rumour that over 400 people are working on the game. "That's not true, it's only 250 people." If you want to know more, check out 9lives for more information concerning the exclusive hands-on session from Gamescom in the near future.
