Bioshock 2's Brilliant Viral Campaign So Far

DualShockers writes,

"You know why I wholeheartedly believe that not only that 2K Marin are a brilliant choice of developers but that the postponing of BS2 until 2010 are both incredibly beneficial factors? SomethingInTheSea.com. Chances are, if you're a Bioshock aficionado, then you've at least heard of SiTS and probably, like I, dismissed it as purely an introduction of the background to the second game. Oh how wrong I was. Never before have I seen a viral campaign with such depth and ingenuity, updated nearly daily, an entire myriad of characters has been created merely from letters, newspaper cuttings and the frantic scribblings of Mark G. Meltzer, our protagonist. We're looking into his world, but yet not once have we even seen a glimmer of his appearance or persona, yet to those engrossed by SiTS, he's very real." (Culture)
