Are you serious?! I wish I would of got my 360 from their. But than again I am about to screw wal-mart for a new one. As horrible as I feel for that I am only doing it to screw Microsoft over. You cant admit your DVD drives are sh*t than deny fixing someone because it broke after the year warranty!

yeah costco is pretty awesome.. my sister actually put a mr.coffee in her oven, cuz she never uses the oven and needed to store the thing.. decides she wants to make cookies one day, preheats the oven, goes to put in cookies.. and hey.. whadda you know a melted mr.coffee in the box. Takes it back to costo, full refund. We would buy tents, use them for the weekend, and return them after that, basically free camping use, haha. I know they are a little different on electronics, but mainly computers, because they become obsolete so fast. People were buying TV's using them for a year, and taking them back, and getting the next biggest model, with full value of the previous tv put towards a new one.. kind of like an upgrade, but costo figured it out and stopped it. But yeah, gaming consoles, game discs, it should all be covered, i know my camera is, so in a couple of years, gonna take it back, say its broke, get a new one.. i love costo.

m original 360 and now will purchase my ELITE there. My friends was telling me her dad returned a TV set after 5 years and when I heard that, I just could not past up that warranty. Knowing the issues the 360 has had, it puts me in a comfortable position.

Hopefully they have re-stocked. I'm waiting for my Tax money.

.. you should do some reading about Costco and some MAJOR changes to the policy simply due to the HUGE AMOUNT of ABUSE the great policy they had was abused.

ESPECIALLY for electronics.

In Canada is you buy a 360 there you are covered for one year. AND if you use the free XBL 3 month card .. then you are only covered for the 3 months. So if you return you mchine they ask for the XBL card and it better not be scratched. I was told this less than a week ago.

---- Right from Costco Canada site --
Merchandise: We guarantee your satisfaction on every product we sell with a full refund. Exceptions: Televisions, projectors, computers, cameras, camcorders, iPOD / MP3 players and cellular phones must be returned within 90 days of purchase for a refund.

That being said .. Costco is STILL HANDS DOWN the best place to buy stuff and be backed with no extra charge. I asked about a one year over the counter warranty from Best BUy and was told I HAD to buy the full 3 years. And only the first year was over the counter and the other two was repair only that could take up to 60 days. Oh yeah, it would have cost me $130 Canadian.
