A lot has changed in video games over the last 30 years - largely for the better. But if there's one area in which games are still showing themselves up, it's in predictable storylines and amateur dialogue.
Get the scoop on Comedy Central's exciting new cartoon show inspired by the iconic Golden Axe video game
Golden Axe is a great game I enjoyed it on the SMS, Genesis and in the arcade. Great game but it truly was a quarter eater back in the day. I wish Sega could get the rights to the arcade port of Moonwalker another great arcade game I enjoyed. Collect so many monkeys and become Robo Michael lol.

Toyohashi, Japan is set to host a large-scale Monster Hunter event to celebrate the franchise's 20th anniversary, complete with themed hotel accommodations.
The dialogue in Metal Gear Solid and Final Fantasy (to name a few) is cheesy? Don't get me wrong, in some games they suck ass big time, but I think it's getting better and better. And you can expect better dialogue this generation of gaming.
Yes you'll get games like FF and Metal Gear but for the most they are just like the Japan to US movies with the dubing. I personally don't mind it. In fact it can add some more entertainment for how so bad it's good voice overs. One I can think of off the top of my head is Enchanted Arms. Dang that was some bad voice acting but I didn't turn it off for I kept laughing at it. I don't know I've always been partial to having the B grade quality on some things. Keeps us in check ^.-
has excellent dialogs.
Look at the Hollywood summer blockbusters they havn't changed much in 30 years. Besides there are lots of games out there with great storys Dues Ex, Oblivian, System Shock 1&2, Thief 1,2&3 (taffer) Halo 1&2 or Half Life (oh yeah aliens take over the world).
The game play and graphics were awesome, but those cut scenes were almost like watching an execution or a wild animal giving birth. *YUK!
I never thought I would be more happy with being would in a game over watching the cut scenes.
