Superfluity, Thy Name is Lost Sanctum

Jeremy Parish @ 1Up: "Chrono Trigger enjoys a reputation for being one of the best RPGs ever made. You may personally disagree, but you can't reasonably deny that it's a well-crafted little adventure of unusually high quality. Much of its success -- and, I suspect, its enduring popularity -- is down to the game's being so tightly designed. I've said this before, but there's very little excess in Chrono Trigger; just about everything you can do or acquire in the game has a purpose. It's a lean, simple game designed to entertain rather than to eat up time. And that is what makes last year's DS remake so utterly infuriating." (Chrono Trigger , Nintendo DS)
