IGN: The Lord of the Rings Online Post-Launch Preview

About a week after release IGN is still deeply involved in their journeys across Middle-earth, hence the lack of a review. IGN goes on to state:

"Turbine's Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar has so far proven to be a remarkably accessible MMORPG, with easy to understand classes and skills, quest goals, and group dynamics. It doesn't do anything exceptionally revolutionary however, instead choosing to utilize a well-worn MMO formula. For the most part, that's not so bad. The game provides a nice mix of solo and group quests, all of which bestow excellent experience bonuses and useful rewards. While many of the solo quests may be of the all-too-familiar kill and fetch variety, sometimes nauseatingly so, the main story quests are refreshingly different."
