Spider-Man 3 breaks box office records in Asia

LOS ANGELES: "Spider-Man 3" smashed box office records across eight Asian markets Tuesday, as the superhero sequel got a head start on the rest of the world, the film's distributor said."It was bigger than 'Spider-Man' and 'Spider-Man 2' everywhere," said Jeff Blake, vice chairman of Sony Pictures.Leading the way was Japan, where its opening-day sales of ¥415 million, or $3.5 million, ranked as the biggest for a Tuesday. Films in Japan normally open on a Saturday, which is a bigger movie-going day....

"Spider-Man 3 breaks box office records in Asia"...and soon the rest of the world :) I very interested in seeing if Spidy can out do Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End and Shrek 3.

i think spiderman 3 will do better then pirates of the caribbean. even though it does not matter because either way sony will be making money off of it.

by the way, just one question. since we've been exposed to so much of fanboys, i mean we all know some of them are really ugly... you think they will watch this movie specially since it's coming from Sony's studio? q: just a thought!
