As we all know, Ken Kuntaragi will be stepping down as Sony Computer Entertainment's CEO. Earlier on last week, Nintendo's Chairman hinted the possibility of having Ken work for them...
Did anybody actually think he would even consider working for Nintendo? Loyalty is one thing, betrayal another. Long live Ken and PlayStation 2,3,…PlayStation 4 Billion.
First off...I am pretty damn sure Ken is feeling pretty hurt over all this. I mean he is basically being touted as the scape goat for the PS3 struggles right now and let me tell you...it took more than just one man to do what has been done. Ken was a very public figure that unfortunately was also a great target for youtube clips and the like due to his absolute passion for Playstation. As quirky and crazy as he is...I really do have respect for the guy. I mean he really is the father of the Playstation in so many ways.
Sony forced him out....no way around that. So I am sure he isn't exactly smitten with them.
But...I also am sure Sony gave him a truck load of money along with a "non-compete" agreement and said this should be enough to keep you quiet about Sony. I have no doubt he got a golden parachute with the clause of "you cant work for a competitor until you are dead and buried".
"I am pretty damn sure Ken is feeling pretty hurt over all this. I mean he is basically being touted as the scape goat for the PS3 struggles right now"
And I'm pretty sure that Ken doesn't listen to what Americans are saying about him and the ps3.
He is not going to Nintendo after all. Kaz wont think twice about this though.:)
