The Old Republic Developer Blog: Creating the Smuggler

On the official site for Star Wars: The Old Republic, senior writer, Hall Hood, has posted a new developer blog. Hood takes the time to discuss the creation of the Smuggler class. Hood says the Smuggler class was specifically created to be a sort of comedic relief for the game, with an emphasis on the classes humor. As well as going on wild adventures. For once, gamers finally get a true hand and being a Han Solo-like character.

"Of all the stories in our game, the Smuggler ones are specifically written with an emphasis on humor and romance." says Hood. "It's not all witty one-liners and romantic conquests, either. Smugglers lead lives of high adventure..."

"The Old Republic is the first Star Wars video game to let players truly live the dream of being Han Solo or Lando Calrissian." writes Hood "...none come close to delivering the humor, romance and just plain fun of being a wisecracking Smuggler who triumphs against all odds."

The story is too old to be commented.
