Now so far in 2009 we've been spoiled with Street Fighter IV and BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger. Sadly, The King of Fighters XII doesn't hold a lick to either of these games. There's no storyline or big boss at the end to fight against. However, I can tell you that for what's featured in the game and for how it plays, The King of Fighters XII is still a good fighting game. It's a three-on-three fighting (no tag-team) featuring some of the most technical maneuvers, special moves, and counters making The King of Fighters XII a rather deep experience..."
