Fans of the classic horror survival/first-person shooter title System Shock 2 have been waiting for the day that Irrational Games would develop another game like it. That day is almost here. Irrational and its parent company 2K Games are schedule to release System Shock 2's "spiritual successor" BioShock on August 21 in North America.
BioShock, which will be available on the PC and Xbox 360, takes place in a mysterious underwater city. After a plane crashes in the ocean, players discover an urban civilization hidden on the ocean floor, filled with mutated humans, genetic alterations and deadly technology. Here's a look at BioShock.
