Quake Live gets ready for QuakeCon 2009

The latest update to id Software's browser-based shooter focuses on clientside features and important fixes.

The fixes and additions focus on competition and shoutcasting features for QuakeCon 2009 due to take place 13-16 August in Dallas, Texas. (Culture, PC, Quake Live, Quake Zero, QuakeLive)

hmmm first of all how about fixing all the cheating and not deleting people's posts of demos on their website that prove it. and for a "browser based game" there is sure alot of crap (punkbuster, maps, game directory) that have to be installed on the local machine. in short, quake live sucks.
