Warcraft Film Likely 2012, Franchise Planned

The Warcraft movie is booked to be released in 2012, according to Warner Bros. who are co-financing the film with Legendary Pictures.

Warner is also reportedly thinking of launching a franchise based on World of Warcraft, after it was confirmed this week that Sam Raimi would be directing the Warcraft film. They believe the series could be as popular as Harry Potter. (PC, World of Warcraft, World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade, World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King)
