The ESRB has just pulled the Eternal Sonata listing that cited the game coming to both Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. Click the link below to do a search for yourself.
So they either 1. Made a mistake on which system(s) it is on or 2. Know something we don't and accidentally posted it =P
I hope it is the second option. I kind of think it could be true because Sony has a great relation ship with Namco. Plus Sony and Namco just made a new company together and even the head guy of Playstation son works at Namco. So it would make sense if it was on the PS3 too. But if it is not I can fall back and get it on the 360.
i wouldnt read to much into that, why is namco doin ace combat 6 a timed exclusice then?,jap devs are bringing more and more games to the 360
I will get it on ps3 .. hope to see more content on ps3 cuz of blueray...
I love these kind of graphics... :)
Does this mean the PS3 version--recently added--has been cancelled?
It would be a shame if that were the case. As I've said before, Playstation players love RPGs and fantasy games, something that has yet to catch on with Xbox (Fable being the exception).
I think the most practical thing for Namco to do would be to release it for both systems, in order to capitalize on the maximum number of gamers possible, and maybe give Xbox owners a taste of what we've been missing in the RPG/fantasy genre. (Between this, Blue Dragon, and Fable 2, plus Mass Effect, we should have plenty to choose from).
Accidentally published i supposed.
You think a game that MS is trying to use to help the 360 in Japan should be on both. If MS has anything thing to do with it and think this game will be a hit they could careless about what Sony fans play or what westerners taste!; they want to give what the Japanese want on their platform to push hardware.
I noticed many games are being labled as PS3 games when the devs have no plans or haven't stated anything; coming out of the woodwork, could all these claims be a type of 2006 PS3 Spring launch coc block?.
Cool, still exclusive for the 360. Namco didn't anounce anything about this, at least not now. I wouldn't take that site too seriously.
The game will more then likely come to ps3.
It very well might come out for the PS3 eventually, but considering Microsoft plans on selling special Trusty Bell Xbox 360 bundles in Japan, perhaps it won't after all.
It's a 360 game. I posted this before, the ESRB originally had GTA:SA listed as a PS2/Gamecube game. They make mistakes.People jump the gun too fast.
isnt this the same thing that happen with gta for ps2
It was most likely originally planned as a Multi-Platform Game, but like Alan Wake and such, Microsoft turned and said "We want that game" and threw a few million about.
Can't wait for this game, mostly because of Microsoft's Middleware being placed down.
