IGN: Nancy Drew: Ransom of the Seven Ships Review

While navigating through the game is fun, it feels more like a series of puzzles linked by a thin narrative thread rather than a mystery game that features puzzles. Still, there's a lot variety and challenge to be had, and the hours seemed to while away while IGN was playing the game. In the end, Ransom of the Seven Ships is worth checking out if you like playing detectives regardless of who the protagonist is.

Presentation - 7.0
Graphics - 6.0
Sound - 6.5
Gameplay - 7.5
Lasting Appeal - 7.5
Overall - (Nancy Drew: Ransom of the Seven Ships, PC) 7.3/10
