Avault: Art of Murder 2: Hunt for the Puppeteer Review

Avault writes: "Having a bad day at the office? Fax machine eating your documents? This is nowhere near as bad as being a federal agent hunting a serial killer. City Interactive's Art of Murder: Hunt for the Puppeteer gives us a chance to experience what it's like to be a G-man (or woman)."

Games Abyss: Art of Murder: Hunt for the Puppeteer Review

City Interactive is a Polish developer known mostly for making first-person shooter games, simulations and the occasional adventure game. Their last PC point-and-click, Chronicles of Mystery: The Scorpio Ritual, was uneven but competently done and boded well for better titles as the company's adventure chops improved. Diehard GameFAN: Art of Murder: Hunt for the Puppeteer Review

Diehard GameFAN writes: "Wow, has 2009 been a bad year for Adventure games or what? Although Art of Murder: Hunt For the Puppeteer isn't as bad as The Path, it's still one of the worst Adventure games I've had to sit through. It's buggy, offers mostly bland and retread puzzles and the story is one of the worst I've played in any sort of game, regardless of genre. The closest thing to a positive comment I can say about this game is that at least the backgrounds aren't hideous. Keep your twenty dollars and eight hours of your life far, far away from this stinker. Don't Do What Donny Don't Does".

ACG Review: Art Of Murder: Hunt For The Puppeteer

Adventure Classic Gaming Writes:

"Art of Murder: Hunt for the Puppeteer stars Nicole Bonnet, the FBI agent from Art of Murder: FBI Confidential. The New Orleans murders are skipped over entirely, and Nicole begins in Paris assisting the French police with investigating the new puppeteer murders there. In fact, Nicole never enters back the United States in the entire game. This seems odd because, as the game even lightly points out, the FBI have no jurisdiction in other countries. Nonetheless, this does not stop the plucky Nicole from bending rules and essentially running her own private investigation well after completing the task her superiors have given her."
