WorthPlaying has 60 new screens from various platforms of the upcoming Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End. The game, inspired by the upcoming movie is produced by Disney Interactive Studios is set for release on May 22.
Wow none of those screen shots look that great. Whats up with the PC ver looking like that?
I agree. They all look like poop. The 360 looks better by a lot but it still sucks as far as new games go. Thats why I think they will look better when the game is done. I hope so anyway.
I was comparing the pics and I'm not impressed either and all it did was ruin a couple of scenes from the upcoming movie for me :( This is supposed to be in 1080p???
So the PS3's will be the only system to output 1920x1080?
I'll just buy the movie and skip the game.
The gameplay seems surprisingly stable. I might check this out. Not sure I want to pay full price for it though. :)
Usually, movie licensed games are not worth it. :(
They all look crap because all film license games are SH!TE! (except of course the one and only exception Goldeneye on the N64, so almost all :) ) Only people who buy these piles of crap are kids and parents of kids for the kids. Sadly, that makes alot of sales so complete sh!te movie lisence games keep getting developed. :(
I agree!, DAM!!! the PC version has the graphics of an average PC game from the mid 90's lol. The 360 version looks the best and the best way to tell that is with the barnical covered monsters. The(game)looks down right pathetic on all the versions except the 360 version, but the 360 version is still sad looking. You also can see how powerful the 360 is when comparing the waving of under water objects when lookin down at them from above the surface.
The PS3 version isn't that much worse than the 360. I agree it does't look as good, but compared with the others, its no where near as god-awful. Seriously though what is up with the PC version it looks about/worse (can't tell) as the ps2 version! Yikes!!
Not very impressed at what I saw. But on the other hand graphics will not matter that much if the plot is good. Still would like it to be beautiful :)
i've never liked playing the "movie" games... you'll just be doing what's already in the movie. nothing new to venture... unless they come out with different script. but most of these games are made very badly... they're all shallow.
