Global mobile phone growth slows

Growth in global mobile phone shipments slowed in the first three months of 2007 after a poor performance from Motorola, an industry report has said.

A total 252 million handsets were shipped in the first quarter of this year, a 12% rise from a year earlier.

This was the first quarter in almost two years in which the annual rate of growth has been below the 20% mark, said the study by Strategy Analytics.

this really is not about games you're right; and I don't know how well informed you are, admittedly. But htis story should supercede everything else on the planet and more like them. Yes, even games - really.

Honey bees are disappearing from the face of the planet Earth at an alarmingly high rate, never before seen in modern history. It's called a colony collapse in ecological terms and it's happening RIGHT NOW. From California to Cairo they're heading out. Where? Non one knows. There carcasses are not even left behind as evidence.

When he was alive, Albert Einstein stated that man could only survive for 4 years without honey bees on Earth. Wierd that'd he say that, eh? Scientist recently have stated that global warming will render the fish in the oceans unfit for human consumption within 50 years if we do not change course post haste.

The reason I bring this up is because scientist now think that cell phone signals are somehow interfering with the bees natural radiowave frequencies which give them sense of direction to and fro plantlife. Then again it could also be the suns ultraviolet light which is has become distorted by pollutants which is giving them trouble sense that is the spectrum in which they see; giving them pinpoint accuracy to the middle of the flower to grow and eventually end up on our dinner plates.

Hands down the most efficient and bio - friendly friends we have in the world of pollinization. And they're taking off. Maybe people are starting to figure out what's really important in this world and slowing down a little on the cell phone jabber. Or not. Now imagine a world with no food and no cell phones.

This story is an ironic omen that I hope more people will take seriously, soon. Global mobile phone growth slows? Maybe it should.
