If you were a kid growing up in the 1980s, there's a pretty good chance that you owned at least one Transformer. While Hasbro's shape-shifting robots weren't the first of their kind, they quickly became more popular than Tonka's Gobots. Although the property's popularity waned thanks to overexposure-and the fact that their core audience hit puberty-the Transformers never went away. Now, Steven Spielberg and Michael Bay are ready to bring the Transformers to a new generation of fans, as well as those looking for a nostalgic blast of childhood memories.
