WTP: Crimson Gem Saga Review

WTP writes: "Combat in Crimson Gem Saga is turn-based, meaning that players select what the actions they want characters to perform from a menu, then watch them play out on-screen. Winning combat is more about strategy than reflexes (though there are some skills that will deal additional damage to enemies with a timed button press). The battles are slow-paced and frequently quite challenging, forcing players to carefully consider their actions and allocate limited resources of special attacks and healing skills. There is a lot of text in the game that informs players on objectives and where to go next, as well as some puzzles without immediately obvious solutions. Reading, patience, and critical-thinking skills will be needed to fully enjoy this game". (Crimsongem Saga, PSP) -
