Watchmen: The End is Nigh episode two gets dated, priced

Warner announced today via a lovely mailer that the second episode for Watchmen: The End is Nigh will be released on PS3 and Xbox 360.

The breakdown on pricing and dates is a bit strange, but here goes.

The story is too old to be commented.

what interesting pricing. I'll probably get the version with the blu ray for the trophies (plus I'm a huge Watchmen fan). I don't really care that the game was repetitive. As a fan, I love playing as Rorschach and Nite Owl. :)

Hell do they even make the Watchman into a game, seriously?
The Watchmen could never be successfully made into a game,I'm guessing this will end up being a cheapened shell of what it's drawing inspiration from.

You are basically spot-on with your assessment. The game pretty much sucks. lol. I doubt the second episode is going to be that much better.

Lemme guess, beat up random guys in linear stages and a half-arsed attempt at paying tribute to the story in oh-so-badly-done cutscenes?
The Watchman is all about the characters and seeing who they really are,how they respond in a world of fear, paranoia and a generally lacking of morals. How they interact with each other and there philosophical/Moral views.
What makes me laugh is the OMGRORSHACH fans who stemmed up after that film because of his enigmatic looks, and yet I'm better 90% of them don't even understand the wearing of that paticular mask.
It's too deep to be done as a game, simple random violence wouldn't ever do it justice.

on all counts. lol. It's basically a button mashing, beat-em up, and you can barely tell it's a Watchmen game.
