TGS: "As the best Fallout 3 DLC available by far, you don't want to miss Point Lookout."
Although I did enjoy operation: Anchorage and The Pitt, neither lived up to experience I had hoped for in buying Fallout DLC. Point Lookout is just what the Dr. ordered.
The Pitt, with its glitches and console freezing problems, not to mention its still linear gameplay, was a major disappointment. Having now played through Point Lookout (it was a dubious buy, having been let down twice already with OA and the Pitt)I strongly recommend it. Bethesda has finally got it just the way we want it.
But I wish they had given more weapons and included a wider variety of enemies in Point Lookout. Oh well, still a great buy for 800 MPs.
I can't even continue playing my copy of the game because of the freezing. Sucks big time!
Almost as awesome as the Shivering Isles was for Oblivion. That is the Bethesda I remember.
I have a lot of catching up to do when it comes to Fallout DLC, the last I played was Anchorage and that was so-so, good to see Bethesda is still churning out quality packs.
