"There is some breakthrough technology and design thinking in Project Natal but it’s too early to tell if this version is good enough to become a standardized UI for thousands of apps. "For many other game genres the player would prefer to have more precise control.”

Didn't the media bash Sony for showing plenty of "promise" with the PS3's hardware?

The one sentence that stood out to me was this - "For some experiences, such as artistic play or dreamy adventures driven by a narrative structure, it looks promising."

This of course will work great with my kids but for me, it's just another peripheral.

Now, onto some more promises, if MS promises a free keg of beer with every Natal sold, I am game for a couple... Count me in!
