Play writes: "It's hard to believe it's been five years since the first Mario vs Donkey Kong landed on the GBA. I felt like it was part of a different series, the continuation of the original Donkey Kong arcade. But when MvDK2: March of the Minis came out, I never got around to picking it up; the classic platforming had been replaced with a weird mix of puzzle and automation, not something that I was looking for in the series." 7.5/10
