Valve: Left 4 Dead 2 Multiplayer Demo On Its Way, Pre-order Customers Get 'Advanced Access'

Doug Lombardi has told Joystiq that a multiplayer demo for Valve's Left 4 Dead 2 is planned for both the Xbox 360 and PC. According to Valve's PR guru, users who pre-order the upcoming zombie survival title at "participating retailers or [via] Steam" will gain "advanced access to the demo," which will eventually land on both platforms for all users prior to the game's November 17 launch.

The story is too old to be commented.

Not buying until the price drops to < $30.

L4D1 dropped to that price after a few months. Heck, theres even a game of the year version.

L4D2 = L4D1 + (rehash weapons + a few new levels)

Err, don't most sequels consist of new weapons and levels?

Sounds to me like people are moaning for the sake of moaning sometimes.

then preorder the damn game maybe will change your mind

I don't have a gaming rig or 360 so I can't play the game anyway. so I'll just bash it since that's what all the cool kids are doing.

"L4D2 = L4D1 + (rehash weapons + a few new levels) "

That's pretty much what every sequel to every game is.

I'll just pre-order the game, play the demo, then cancel the pre-order, like I do with all of these ;) Unless the game is really good, the first one got old in a few days, and I couldn't find too many user-created campaigns I really liked. Anyone here know some really good maps?
