If you scan forums and story comments about Electronic Arts' MySims franchise, you'll see that even today there are two schools of thought about the series. One group says it wants "real" Sims games on Wii, the MySims games are too kiddy and the series, with its titles touching on more and more genres, is just a cash-in.
PBG says some things, and then MySims Agents happens.
Gamertell has posted a positive review of EA's MySims Agents for Wii.
From the review:
"While both prior MySims games were straightforward simulation and adventure games, where you'd need to create building and furniture on request, MySims Agents breaks away from the simulation elements and is strictly an adventure game. After playing, I'm pleasantly surprised and would consider MySims Agents my favorite entry in the series."
About writes: "Kid's games. For me, the phrase brings to mind tedious exercises in bland, cloying dialogue, nonsensical stories and dumbed-down, poorly implemented gameplay; games no one over ten could enjoy. But sometimes, just sometimes, a game aimed at children is just plain fun. Such is the case with MySims Agents."
