Play: Cross Edge Review

Do you ever wonder where discarded thoughts go? …All those random notions and ideas that never amount to anything? Of course you don't, which makes it the perfect place to stage a video game starring a mash-up of characters from all over the JRPG kingdom. Joining the likes of Demitri, Morrigan, Lilith, and Felicia from Capcom's Darkstalkers are Etna and Prinny from Nippon Ichi's Disgaea; Zelos and Meu from Idea Factory's Spectral Souls; and a cluster of characters from the world of Gust including Raze, Lily, and Whim from Mana Khemia 2; Marie from Atelier Marie; and Lyner, Aurica, Misha, and Shurelia from Ar Tonelico: Melody of Elemia.

Good score. I'm playing Cross Edge now (not now as in this instant, but now as in it's the game that I'm currently working on... I typically only play one game at a time until I beat it, then move on to something else).

The story and characters and humorous and often charming in their quirkiness. The voice acting is top notch. The battle system is fun, and the game offers a whole lot of depth. It's a pretty good game, in my opinion. This review and the OPM UK review are the two that most fit my own opinion of the game.

You are a very strong person, I can never play just one game and then move onto the next. I think Killzone 2 has been the only game I've ever beaten really (In terms of story) and Cross-Edge is next. Though as of now I've pretty much been stocking up on DLC at the moment and gearing up to hopefully be able to get a few days off from work, so that I can sit down with a box of pizza a drank and just play the game.
