Games these days are easy. Most of them hold your hand and tell you exactly how to be a good little savior of the world. There was once a time when beating a boss or completing a stage actually meant something. Games were challenging...
(Culture, Demon's Souls, PS3)
4/5
ok i don't think there's a need to add more praise for this game, most people by now should know that it is awesome.
I just wanna say, Demon's Souls is probably the only game i have EVER played that made me feel genuine fear when facing a boss. Yes, it is THAT hard and unforgiving, but it also makes it so much more satisfying when you finally bring that ****er down
yeah, and the dark colors and the sounds make you really believe you're alone facing demons... There's a feeling of loneliness too, even when you're invoking an online friend to coop with you.
Demon's Souls is a 9/10 in my book, it's very addictive, I've got the import asian version but I'll still buy the Atlus NA version when it's released, winning trophies in chinese is not so nice. ^^
I know people that put 100+ hours in this game. It's a bit like Diablo made on console and in 3D, with better sounds and graphics.
