Paleo Entertainment has released an update for their online multiplayer shooter Drug Wars, now available on Steam. The patch brings several fixes and improvements including updated maps and weapons to the game.
Gamertell has posted a negative review of Paleo Entertainment's Drug Wars for PC (Windows).
From the review:
"If you're getting it for the multiplayer mode, find a few friends will to buy the game. At least then you'll have someone to play with.
If you're looking for a worthwhile single-player experience, save your money. There are few games worse than the Merchants of Brooklyn single-player half of Drug Wars."
MoB even started off well. The music rocked, the story intrigued me, and the visuals and art direction are acceptable. Everything else about this title is an utter failure, especially the complete lack of basic QA testing.
Ouch. I can't help but feel a little bit bad for the developers. Maybe next time guys.
Drug Wars is part of Merchants of Brooklyn, everybody was wondering because the trailer didn't show anything closely related to drugs...
TVGB writes: "We here at TVGB are crazy about supporting indie games and when good ones roll around we tend to go nuts for them. Zeno Clash is a great example of one of those great indie games that we want to make sure everyone knows all about. However not all indie games are created equal and sometimes games like Drug Wars, if that's even what it's called, come along and slap our starry eyed stare right out of our eye sockets. To make a long story short Merchants of Brooklyn aka MOB aka Drug Wars is simply not a good game."
