NowGamer: Yosumin Live! Review

Most people give screenshots a quick scan whenever they come to a page, and no doubt most have probably audibly groaned at the prospect of another match three puzzler. Those fears are unfounded however because here you're actually matching four! Ahem.

Five more games join the list of Back Compat arrivals on Xbox One – Should you be playing them?

Carlos writes - "This week has already proven exceptionally busy for Xbox One’s Backwards Compatibility program with the arrival of several Xbox Original titles. It seems all is not over however, as now we see even more games added to help expand the ever-growing list even more. Oh wow how fast they keep adding them it's so good to know all new Xbox consoles are gonna carry all these games with better graphics it's amazing

Backwards compatibility should be a standard going forward. There should be no reason it can't be done. I expect the PS5 to play all PS4 games. We already know that's going to be the case with Xbox 5.

Destructoid: Yosumin Live Review

Honestly, that's the predominant aspect of Yosumin Live!: it's passivity. It's a very casual puzzle-like game that can slowly sneak up on you with a hidden complexity. It will not be fun for all players and even fans of the puzzle genre may be left scratching their heads. Given a chance, it may win you over with its cheerful visual style, sound effects and surprising depth. Giving it that opportunity, however, is probably going to be more effort than most players deem worthwhile.

GameSpot: Yosumin Live Review

GameSpot writes: "Yosumin Live is a lot more fun conceptually than it is in practice. The simple mechanics are easy to pick up and fun for a while, but recognizing patterns without being able to manipulate the board yourself becomes repetitive before long. Competitive mode adds a feeling of urgency and is still the best aspect of this otherwise monotonous game, though it lacks the depth that could have made it really exciting. Yosumin is a novel twist to the Bejeweled formula, but the genre king can rest easy on its throne for the moment".
