Telegraph: Red Faction: Guerrilla Review

After playing through Red Faction: Guerrilla's campaign and sampling the delights of its wonderfully chaotic multiplayer mode, the name of its central character, Alec Mason, seems like a sly in-joke on the part of the developers. A mason, after all, is someone who builds things. Alec Mason does the exact opposite. A lot. And very thoroughly. In fact, Red Faction: Guerrilla is a video game which puts a premium on blowing things up and with Mason, players are presented with ample opportunities to cause destruction on an unprecedented scale.
