PS3 Ratchet: It's not all about guns

The bright and breezy world you've already seen in the trailer for Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction looks absolutely gorgeous.

Equally stunning is the confirmation from developer Insomniac that the series will move away from Ratchet's aggressive, combat orientated exploits in Up Your Arsenal and Gladiator to return to its platforming roots.

The intention, according to Insomniac president Ted Price, is to revisit what people loved about Ratchet and Clank originally – an experience that will induce awe and wonder. Pop your jaw back in and take another look. The whole landscape is packed with detail and activity, from the sheer number of vines growing on nearby trees to the innocuous flow of air traffic overhead.

You have got to play the 3rd one "Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal" if you want to have a good understanding of all past things as well as its the best single-player and pretty good multiplayer action in there.

R&C: Deadlocked, which is the 4th part has great gameplay but is more focused and fun when multiplayer, also its the best multiplayer with splitscreen part. It doesn't shed much light on past and is less funny, more dark. The PS3 game R&C: Future is more like the 3rd and past games.

So,

As originality claims, I think you should definitely check out R&C 3 first, you'll be hooked up right after first planet and won't leave the controller. Just after a couple of hours you'll know that there is just no experience like that on Xbox or PC. When you get all 20 weapons with each having 3 or more upgrades...you'll be the king of fun. Don't miss out one of the finest thing in life. Go get R&C 3 !!!

I am not sure which one has split screen co op but I have played up your arsenal and it was a load of fun. I haven't played one since due to time constraints but I will for sure get this one if not at least a rent.

ECT ON PSP HAVEN'T PLAYED IT YET. BUT GUNS ARE A MAJOR FACTOR OF THE GAME ESPECIALLY WHEN U UPGRADE THEM INTO MORE PHENOMENAL PIECES OF KICK ASS ART! PLEASE BRING BACK THE BLACK~HOLE GUN/RYNO3/MORPRAY GUN.

The PSP version captures great the part of the essence of the PS2 installment and I have to say the Infrastructure over the PSPS version is extremely good. Too bad that only 4 players are available to play I wish it could be around 8 or 10.
