Specifications For Commodore Gaming Rigs

Commodore have now released the specifications of their high end gaming rigs, but as of yet no pricing information is availible. Starting with the entry level rig, the specs are as follows:

they will be very good systems but... im a little confused... i thought that Commodore was going into the console business like Sony and MS are... anyone tell me what there plan is then? cos my PC can play anything on the market atm, so im not likely to go out and buy one of these systems.. and i doubt many other people will, if Commodore are doing this for PC gaming.

They are just now getting into PC gaming. Awesome rigs, but the high end system is going to be on the far side of insanely expensive

I think I'm right in saying that the CXX is designed to directly compete with things like the Alienware Area-51 and ALX rigs (which can command upward of £10K!) so it's not something everyones gonna grab. The CGS and CGX look like the should be pretty snazzy bits of kit for a reasonable price though. If you notice they both have the same motherboard as the CXX, so you can always upgrade all the way up to the top level bit by bit if you can't afford it in one go, which is a nice touch.
