LiveFire is dead, long live LiveFire. ngmoco's first-person shooter for the iPhone has jettisoned its working title in favor of a new moniker that, well, has yet to be assigned. However, little time seems to have been poured into naming exercises. Instead, ngmoco has spent the last few weeks since GDC working on the game's class system, controls, and weapons. At WWDC today, ngmoco had four iPod Touches with LiveFire (ahem, The Game Formerly Known As LiveFire -- or TGFKALF) linked up over Wi-Fi for trial multiplayer matches.
Farlight 84 will get the V2.2 update, and the test servers for the next versions are up and running. This update will bring multiple good changes and new features to the game. One such new thing is that the game is revamping the Battle Pass.
