GameDaily Review: Red Faction: Guerrilla

GameDaily writes: "Book your one-way ticket to Mars in THQ's Red Faction Guerrilla, a game with an unprecedented level of destruction. In it, you lead a group of rebels known as the Red Faction against the Earth Defense Force. Although the single player adventure has a few lame mission types (deliver a vehicle to a specific point), much of it revolves around blowing things up or smashing them to pieces. Thanks to Geo-Mod 2.0, you can bash through walls with a sledgehammer to create exits, puncture metal pipes and attach remote explosive charges to take down enormous structures, annihilate bridges and set traps for enemy convoys. Completing the same objectives grows repetitive and the game features drab scenery, but collecting scrap metal from destroyed objects and mining ore to purchase upgrades kept us busy for hours."
