European game publisher Paradox Interactive was at E3 this year and shown a small assortment of its upcoming titles. One of these titles is East India Company, a PC strategy game where gamers take charge of an old-world merchant fleet.
The first thing I noticed about East India Company were the fairly impressive graphics -- more specifically the water effects. A great level of detail was put into this, which is probably a good thing seeing as the game pretty much all takes place on the high seas. The water raises and falls as wave after wave move past your respective vessels and a realistic ripple effect follows your ships as the sail through the ocean.
