TGS '09: Kojima's Next Gen Tech, Playable Build of Last Guardian?

Split-screen: "If you thought E3 2009 was the big budget party, then the Tokyo Game Show '09 would be the after hours rave: Sleeker, more nuanced and in some cases, more sublime than insane. After debuting Metal Gear Solid Rising and Portable Ops: Peace Walker, sources tell us Konami's Hideo Kojima is already working on next generation tech and that we'll most likely see a demonstration at this year's TGS."

i think most the Japanese Sony 1st/2nd/3rd party studios will talk about way more new games then e3. Probably a release date for GT5

Nike3182d ago

I remember hearing that Gran Turismo 5 would be out some where around the end of this year? Though they most likely pushed it forward to January or February 2010. God of War 3 is out in March, and it'd be kind of weird to release it a few months after that. So yeah, between Dec 2009 to Feb 2009 seems likely.

hell yeah, TGS is going to be awesome, can't wait to see the last guardian in action, and hopefully we'll get GT5 details to shut the turn 10 devs up.

Sharingan_no_Kakashi3182d ago

Kazu said the game could be released at any time. It's done. They just like to triple check stuff. Freakin perfectionists >.>

SaberEdge3182d ago

Yeah, I can't wait to see more about The Last Guardian. That game along with Uncharted 2 are probably the most exciting games I am looking forward to get on PS3. Team Ico games are unique and some of the best ever created.

last guardian,agent, peacewalker,u2, mag, gow3

@1.3:

it would be hilarious if polyphony releases gt5 in the same week of forza3.

after all the claims the forza devs are making..... If i were polyphony i would release it on the same day, a move like that would totally b1tc# slap forza devs and their sotware. It wouls totally remind forza of its place on the totem pole

Sharingan_no_Kakashi3181d ago

It would be interesting to see which one the multiple console owners would give their 60 bucks to.

gamesmaster3181d ago

dont see why all the gt5 and forza comparisons are being made, considering they're on separate platforms.

..that being said, i can't stand those turn 10 devs at the moment, arrogance like that isn't even about outdoing the competition its just about trash talking.

Sarcasm3181d ago

I commend Turn 10 for their fast efforts on Forza 3, making huge improvements over Forza 2.

But I shun their arrogance.

I hope Gran Turismo 5 does come out the same day.

For me = Final Fantasy VS XIII. I need to see some game play.

sinncross3182d ago

I just hope Sony have a proper conference this year: last year all the had was a stakeholders keynote of sorts.
