Whenever a new RPG is announced we all know what a large part of the gameplays going to be all about; Lots of levelling up and then picking up the next set of gear to beat the bosses. Only few dont follow such a traditional formula and one of those titles is Capcoms Monster Hunter. Instead of letting the player rely on levelling to a point where the enemies do little damage to them, the Monster Hunter series require a slightly higher level of skill. Everything was about mastering your favourite weapons, bringing the right items and timing your dodges and hits. The first game to make it to the PSP Monster Hunter Portable (Freedom) managed to gain some great success selling close to a million copies in Japan alone and now, the company brings us the sequel promising even more deadly monsters to fight and plenty of new content.
