E3 09; Beatles Rock Band "All You Need Is Love" not so exclusive after all

PS3 Attitude writes, "It looks like the recently announced Xbox 360 exclusive song for Beatles Rock Band, "All You Need Is Love," is not so exclusive after all. I'm not sure if MS announced it as exclusive by during the live demo at MTV Games, it was said to be Xbox 360 exclusive DLC.

but i believe what they said was exclusive to xbox live.

Funny because one of the developers stood on stage next to John S. of MS and said very clearly the EXCLUSIVE TRACK "All you Need Is Love" will be exclusive to the Xbox 360 and all proceeds will go to Doctors Without Borders.

What a complete d!ck move if they(Harmonix) sat on stage and said this when it was not true. To tie it to a charity is just scummy if you are going to jerk around what is exclusive and what's not. Especially after all the fanfare MS gave the game.

Harmonix probably did nothing of the sort. You know how spokespersons like to toss the word EXCLUSIVE around with their "groundbreaking, innovative, and captivating console..." (An example)

If it's a time exclusive, it's still exclusive.

..but all kidding (and Rutles references) aside, I'm relieved to hear that this important (well, to me, anyway) song won't be limited to the Xbox only. That really pi$$ed me off when it was announced. Now I can go back to smiling at he idea of Xbox owners paying for a Gold membership to access the otherwise-free Facebook.

Nothing 3rd party is exclusive ... for long.

Microsoft is definitely the Taxman here. The word "exclusive" is just being thrown around these days...
