Super Paper Mario better be good, as Newsweek spoke with Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime, and he's confirmed Metroid Prime 3: Corruption will not be released by June of this year. Originally promised as an early 2007 release, the first-person-shooter will be arriving sometime in the summer, at the earliest.
"Where is Metroid? Metroid is not going to ship by June. We've announced all of our games through the end of June. And the fact with Metroid is we want to make sure that that game is perfect," said Fils-Aime. "Unfortunately, Metroid Prime 2 didn't live up to our expectations, it didn't live up to Retro's expectations ... From a sales standpoint. I think we were all happy with the product itself. Certainly it won quite a bit of critical acclaim, but the sell-through wasn't what we wanted it to be."

Hollow Knight come damn near close to knocking Super Metroid from the top of my list, that’s a huge achievement for such a small team.
The problem for me is I’ve been waiting for a 2D Metroid that beats Super but I don’t think I’ll ever see that day. I still play the original 1-2 times a year and a few randomiser plays.
Fully agree with the list and all points it makes for each game. I’m expecting Dread to fit in the middle of that list but I’m happy to be wrong about that.

It's Gears Of War vs Resistance:Fall Of Man vs Metroid Prime 3,I own both Gears and Resistance and I am definetly picking this one up for my Nintendo Wii!.This is one of many reasons to pick up a Wii I'd say.

I hope they added co-op online play!
I know the previews of it showed the graphics were on par with Halo 2.
I have a feeling those graphics just got tweaked up abit more.
I too am looking forward to the wii producing games which it couldn't on the GC.
