What does the new PSP Go! mean for gamers?

It seems that for every addition the PSP Go! is to enjoy, something else has been taken away. All those expensive UMD games will be useless, and the screen could slide into an alternate dimension, but it'd still be smaller than the current PSP's.

If Sony prices this as a budget range PSP, it could become a runaway success. If it's the same price as the PSP 3000, it could be the PS2 versus the PS3 all over again.

Pocket Gamer asks whether there's room on the shelf for two PSP consoles, and whether Sony should have made the PSP Go! into the PSP2, instead. (PSP)
