Very sad. I ran The Sims 2 on a laptop with integrated graphics. :/

Not THAT much of a difference in graphics between #2 and #3, just the textures look a lot smoother and a bit more detailed

Not that its a bad thing, this means that average computers can run it properly

it adds much more than that

it makes extensive use of shader 2.0
(just look at the glass in the shower)
the sims itself look much more realistic and the models are very clean and have pretty awesome facial expressions...

and dont forget the whole city you could explore without loading times...
