BeefJack: Bionic Commando Review

BJ writes: "When children do something wrong, the last person they want to have find out about it is their parents. Inevitably, mom and dad learn of the nefarious deed and a conversation ensues. The poor quality of the game may be due to the developer, GRIN, taking on too many games at once. Wanted: Weapons of Fate, came out just two months ago, while Bionic Commando and Terminator Salvation shared the same release date."

Meh, game is not worth a 10 but it's WAY better than a 3.8. I'm having loads of fun with it.

It can be punishing at times where you screw a swing up but when you get used to the controls, swinging constantly and fluidly feels pretty rewarding. All the arm combat moves leave a satisfying impact when you connect too.

Worst thing is the load screens between falling to your death and starting from the beginning of the level again... Whatever, that's how the games I used to play worked, BC is just old school and I'm having a great time.
