Last night, High Voltage Software released the first trailer for Gladiator A.D., a new title for the Wii. However, the company was not actually too happy with it.
hawt damn looks better than the one last night. i love high voltage ^_^
i agree its looking great geez HVS are you trying to kill the other devs on my top 10 list and become number 1 xD
yes i know what you mean i don't want to slobber all over hvs but they're supporting the wii well
This game is just so sweet! all of high voltage's games look sweet! great job you guys keep it up! ill be getting all three!
ALL THREE FOR ME ASWELL I THINK WE SHOULD PREORDER THEM ALL SOON AS WE CAN THAT IS WOW I CAN SEE WHERE THERE TAKING THEM GRAPHICS AND TO HONEST IM PUMPED WOW WOW
Ah...yeah..looks much better XD. Hope it has more depth than Punch-out( don't get me wrong i freaking love punch-out, the characters are awesome), else i will be playing another punchout...
I would have liked Punchout even more if it just has online mp. Though I really enjoyed the game but yeah its not super long seeing as how only the second time through is actually hard.
It should be more precise than punched out because it's obvious it will use wii motion +.
nice trailer ...i just hope it won't be action sequences ONLY in the arena ...
good work HVS, I sorely needed an alternative to BB since SE will not make a proper sequel. This game looks great from a fighting standpoint and hope that it gets polished to the moon.
If THe Conduit ends up being pretty damn good then Nintendo should start throwing money at HVS to try and keep them on their side. Im now excited for all three of their games and cant wait to get my hands on the Conduit. Reminding me of Rare of the N64 with my excitement for none Nintendo products. Didn't really happen last gen for me like it did with rare. Good job HVS its nice to see that they have been behind the wii for awhile. I cant wait to here what Nintendo has in store for the system this year because 3rd party wise its really not bad at all. Sure its not great but overall a stronger 3rd party support is starting to show up.
It would be nice but I don't see that happening. Nintendo likes to run on their own steam. So they have made a reputation for crappy support for 3rd party companies. If Nintendo was smart they would acquire HVS. Their engine could do wonders for their average wii title (excluding mario galaxy and MP3. BTW I was wondering if they would ever use the objects in the tech demo I guess I was right.
First thing that came to my mind when I saw the video for this. At least one company uses something from thier tech demo. As for nintendo well yeah I doubt they would but hey nows the time they have tons of money coming in and it would at least be a nod towards the "hardcore" crowd that they at least acknowledge them.
the shining hope for all wii owners. I have a feeling the next 2 years HVS releases are going to become a big deal. I hope they can stay an indi developer for as long as possible. Part of me wishes they could publish their own stuff... but that's kindof an issue.. Looks great... but now this pales in comparison to the grinder.
I was impressed with the first trailer, but this one put any doubts I had aside, really good looking graphics and now to wait for the Grinder's trailer...which should be twice as cool as this...:)
Great Trailer! HVS is such a talented group. Only thing I wish is that it had more Anti-Aliasing and/or a higher resolution, because there is a lot of Jaggedy stuff. But I think that is the Wii's fault because I heard games on the Wii can only run on 800x600..not sure though. But nonetheless I'm excited!
